Cycling has grown rapidly in the valley of Chamonix

E-shuttles, hybrid busses and soon busses running on natural gas, a serious rehabilitation of the train line, pedestrian walkways and cycle paths: the valley of Chamonix develop and gives structure to its eco-mobility.

A cycle path is being built between Chamonix and Les Houches in order to encourage the inhabitants and the tourists to opt for a more eco-friendly mode of transportation. A continuous path will allow a safe ride.

The rearrangement between Les Bossons and Chamonix will be continued during autumn 2019 just like a path in Bois du Bouchet.

Eventually, the valley will be connected to the Léman Lake by the cycling path « Véloroute du Léman au Mont Blanc », V61.
