Christmas holydays / winter 2020-21 special information :
The ski lifts are not open for the moment but there are a multitude of possibilities to enjoy in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley!

From the village of Le Tour and Vallocirne, the Charamillon and Vallorcine gondolas, and the Autannes chairlift, 2185 m, transport you over rich alpine pastures into a fabulous nature and leisure area.

This very sunny Franco-Swiss ski area reaches a height of 2,186m at Col de Balme pass.

This area can be reached from Le Tour village or by gondola lift from Vallorcine.

The Balme area has in summer nice paths for all leves such as the path up to the Albert I mountain hut, a very pleasant walk in a giant-scale glacier setting, but also routes in the wild through pastures and forests!

From Charmillon to Col des Posettes pass, several mountain bike trails for all levels take you down to the villages of Le Tour and Vallorcine.

Where to eat: The Chalet de Charamillon and the mountain chalet at the Col de Balme pass welcome you in summer and a delicieus blueberry tart awaits the more courageous at the Albert I mountain hut.
