Handi ski - Adapted skiing

In collaboration with the association "Loisirs Assis Evasion", the ESFski school offers lessons for the physically or mentally handicapped. Learn to ski or experience skiing in a wheelchair.
With specially adapted equipment (tandemski, upright or seated skiing, guided seated skiing) the lessons are given by State qualified professionals.
The ski lift systems offer special tarrifs for people whose handicap necessitates someone to accompany them. The Prarion gondola lift has a specially adapted handisport access

Cross country skiing


Les Houches have signed slopes for skating and cross-country skiing at the summit of Prarion.
One circuit of 4 Km situated at the top of Prarion lift, at 1900m d'altitude, guaranteeing good snow cover throughout the season.

As professional mushers, we have selected and raised our pure breed huskies and Greeland eskimos in order to give the best possible service. Saint-Bernard breeding keenels

Originally bred as guard dogs, the monks at Grand St Bernard turned them into rescue dogs in the 18th century, to search for lost travellers.
Jean-Pierre and Renée Dumont will introduce you their noble dogs during an hour long commented visit.

Visit possible every day from 10 to 11h30am and from 2 to 5h30pm
except Sunday mornings and Monday mornings.

Les Houches
2 trails for snowshoeing in les Houches, one of them at the top of Prarion lift, guaranteeing good snow cover throughout the season.
Free access to the piste (cable car payable)

Several marked trails are accessible by foot or with snowshoeing, leaving from the center of the village.
